A simple proof of a curious little problem

Introduction

One fine Friday afternoon, I found myself craving chicken nuggets. Dragging my friend to the nearest McDonald’s, I found myself looking at the options — a box of 6 or a box of 11? I was feeling particularly hungry, so I went:

“Hi I’d like to order 49 chicken nuggets please!”
