Wittgenstein’s Activities During World War I

A prodigy intellectual among the bullets.

Before the war

Wittgenstein dropped out of aeronautical engineering in 1909 and traveled to Jena, Germany, to personally meet Frege (a well known logician) and debate on the foundations of mathematics. He also hoped that Frege could evaluate his aptitude for philosophy.
